More Bollywood Stalking. This is one of the 2 houses on Greens Dr that was taken over for the set. I surreptiously took a pic of… well, nothing too exciting, while my sister drove her car by. This was our 2nd time driving by. The 1st time, the front yard was full of “party dressed extras” sitting down in chairs lined up in the front yard. I wish I was more assertive (or courageous?) to be one of those annoying paparazzi types. Or maybe I should just get a bigger lens… heh heh….
2 months til Hawaii. 4 months til Veronica’s wedding. I’ve started a weight training program 3 days a week and cardio on the alternate days. Today was day 1. So far so good!
By the way- the 10k didn’t go as planned- we were fully involved in bathroom demo. Another race, another time – it’s still a goal for 2009.
My weekly adventure… hmm. Let’s see. 2 hours, 1 visit a week since May 24th – 6 trips so far. $17 each time. I’m hoping we can get the tile floor done by my birthday- July 20th. I would really like my new washer/dryer delivered that week!

I know I’m behind again, and do have my photos, but they’re not processed. However, today was an EXCITING day here in our sleepy little town. I was making my coffee this morning and looking out the kitchen window as I always do. Driving down my street, backwards, was a large truck with people, lights, cameras and reflectors – towed by the truck was a flatbed with a cute little Honda SUV loaded up with young people. It backed down my street to the corner and stopped. Then I heard “Action” and it began driving up my street. This happened about 4 times. I thought it might have been a commerical. BUT IT’S NOT! It’s a real MOVIE! A BOLLYWOOD MOVIE!!! And per my google searches, a long awaited big time movie! OMG! HOW DID INDIA FIND MY STREET!?!!?

I’m assuming that this woman is the lead actress- Kajol, who is listed on the IMDB page for the movie. She’s big time!! I love the Bollywood movies I’ve seen, so this is truly exciting!

It’s been a crazy day here actually- the movie set is taking up 2 blocks just north of me (of course i joined the crowd of groupies for a bit) and on the other corner, a loud and scary traffic accident occurred. It was cool to see all my neighbors, already peeking out windows at the movie set, dash off the other direction to assist the woman who was screaming and crying. Even some of the set people were running down. The woman who was shrieking was treated on scene and I believe a family member came and got her- so no serious injuries. What a day!!

Another one of my favorite homes- this one is on University Av at Matheson St. Craftsman is my numero uno all time fav and the small garden and color scheme of the home just makes my tail wag. My sister looked into renting it but it’s a pet free home.
Giddyap! This is a firepit in our backyard. It was here when we bought the house- and around it was tree stumps with rusty tractor seats to sit on. We’ve used it once only. What’s wrong with us??
